      Mutants have a strong mutant wing phenotype.

      Homozygous adults are sensitive to dietary paraquat compared to controls.

      Homozygous adults are sensitive to hyperoxia (100% oxygen) compared to controls.

      Mutants show increased sensitivity to starvation compared to controls.

      Mutant flies have a significantly shorted life span relative to controls on food medium that has been supplemented with 20mmol/L iron (III) sulfate hydrate but do not show significantly reduced lifespan on medium supplemented with 1mmol/L cadmium sulfate hydrate.
