      Mutants have a strong mutant wing phenotype.

      Homozygous adults are sensitive to dietary paraquat compared to controls.

      Homozygous adults are sensitive to hyperoxia (100% oxygen) compared to controls.

      Mutant flies have a significantly shorted life span relative to controls on food medium that has been supplemented with a heavy metal (either 20mmol/L iron (III) sulfate hydrate or 1mmol/L cadmium sulfate hydrate has been added to the medium).
