Expression of Hsap\CLN3Scer\UAS.cTa in the eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in disruption to ommatidial organization and widespread vacuolation, indicative of degeneration.

Ubiquitous overexpression of Hsap\CLN3Scer\UAS.cTa by Scer\GAL4da.G32 is semi-lethal. Escaping adults are noticeably small than controls and display roughened eyes. Overexpression also leads to duplication of macrochaetae on the thorax of the adult fly. Wings display thickened veins, vein deltas and notches in the wing margin.

Expression of Hsap\CLN3Scer\UAS.cTa by Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 results in duplications in the sternopleural bristles on the side of the adult fly.

Expression of Hsap\CLN3Scer\UAS.cTa in the wing margin by Scer\GAL4vg.M.Exel causes large notches to appear in the wing blade.

Overexpression of Hsap\CLN3Scer\UAS.cTa in the posterior of the imaginal wing disc using Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in duplication of one or more bristles on the scutellum, with the mean number increasing compared to controls.

Overexpression of Hsap\CLN3Scer\UAS.cTa in the posterior of the imaginal wing disc using Scer\GAL4en-e16E in a heterozygous DlRF background results in increased duplication of one or more bristles on the scutellum, with the mean number increased compared to single mutants and controls.
