Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI-driven expression of jubdsRNA.C.Scer\UAS.22.5 results in pharate lethality.

Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-driven jubdsRNA.C.Scer\UAS.22.5 expression in the wing decreases wing size as compared to wild-type controls. The small-wing phenotype is due to decreased cell number, not cell size, and wing patterning appeared unaffected.

Scer\GAL4GMR.PF-driven jubdsRNA.C.Scer\UAS.22.5 expression in the pupal eye epithelium results in reduction in the number of interommatidial cells without any disruption to ommatidial patterning.
