      The dorsal trunk of homozygous stage 16 embryos are approximately 12% longer than those of wild-type embryos. The number of tracheal cells in the mutant dorsal trunk is normal, indicating that the elongated phenotype is not due to an increase in cell number.

      Homozygous clones in the eye have defects including misoriented ommatidia and loss of ommatidial asymmetry. Abnormal numbers of photoreceptors are also seen.
