Expression Ube3aT447P.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC results in a variable phenotype depending upon the insertion line expressed. Ubiquitous expression, under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL, does not alter viability for 4 of the 6 insertion lines, while the remaining 2 display lethality. Expression in the wing (under Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096) or eye (under Scer\GAL4GMR.PF) results in no phenotype for 5 of the 6 insertion lines, but expression of the remaining insertion line results in rough eyes and curly wings.
