      Larvae heat shocked to express rprhs.PF for 1 hour in the early wandering stage show a rapid histolysis of the salivary glands in immobile late third instar larvae or white prepupae. The disintegrating salivary glands show no sign of cellular vacuolisation prior to the complete lysis of the glands.
