        Homozygous and RanBPMk05201/RanBPMts7 third instar larvae show a significantly lower response index (response index = (path length in dark - path length in light)/total path length during the assay) in an on/off light avoidance assay than control larvae.

        Homozygous third instar larval show normal feeding behaviour when placed on a drop of yeast paste containing food dye after a 2 hour starvation period.
