Bipolarity of P{βTub85D-SigD}R1 cysts is partially rescued by co-expression of sktlβTub85D.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.

Expression of sktlβTub85D.T:Avic\GFP-YFP restores spermatid elongation in Styp\sopBΔN29.βTub85D-expressing testes. Axoneme assembly is rescued, and the stability of the ensheathed structure by the axial membrane is restored. Orientation of doublet microtubules is occasionally disrupted. The orientation of the basal body with respect to the nuclear envelope is largely restored, although not all basal bodies are associated with a nucleus.
