Expression of fzdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 results in significant delays in border cell migration at 29[o]C, but border cells usually reach the oocyte and no defects in border cell guidance are observed. A reduction in the number of large actin-protrusions from the border cell cluster compared to wild-type clusters is observed.

Expression of fzdsRNA.Scer\UAS in the polar follicle cells under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 results in delayed border cell migration.

Co-expression of fzdsRNA.Scer\UAS in border cells expressing Rho1V14.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 ameliorates the rounded-border cell phenotype, and cells appear less round and produce actin-rich protrusions.
