UASp regulatory sequences drive expression of a truncated form of baz (the same truncation as is found in bazX-82, with an alanine residue in place of the TAG stop codon found in bazX-82) which is fused to EGFP.
Expression of bazX-82.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 does not affect nuclear migration in the oocyte or abdominal segmentation in the embryos derived from them.
