      Adults expressing porindsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR show defects in mitochondrial morphology in the indirect flight muscles, with elongated tube-like mitochondria being seen between the muscle fibers.

      Adults expressing P{UAS-porin.Sym} (which carries porinSym.Scer\UAS and porina.Sym.Scer\UAS) under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR show defects in mitochondrial morphology in the indirect flight muscles, with elongated tube-like mitochondria being seen between the muscle fibers.
