Description

The R9B05 enhancer is fused upstream of the Drosophila synthetic core promoter (DSCP), followed by a lexA::p65 driver composed of Ecol\lexA fused at the C-terminal end to the p65 activation domain (amino acids 283-551) (sequence optimised for Drosophila codon usage). The protein is tagged at the N-terminal end with a Tag:NLS(SV40-largeT) nuclear localization signal. An Hsp70 transcriptional terminator is present.
