The frequency of spontaneous release (miniature end-plate potential (MEPP) frequency) at the neuromuscular junction is reduced in larvae expressing Snap25R206A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU compared to larvae expressing Snap25WT.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU. The average MEPP amplitude of larvae expressing Snap25R206A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU is not significantly different from that of larvae expressing Snap25WT.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU.

The average frequency and amplitude of the miniature end plate current (MEPC) at the neuromuscular junction are both reduced in larvae expressing Snap25R206A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU compared to larvae expressing Snap25WT.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU.

The mean amplitude of evoked junctional potentials at the neuromuscular junction is reduced in larvae expressing Snap25R206A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU compared to larvae expressing Snap25WT.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU.

The total number of boutons per neuromuscular junction and the diameter of type 1b and 1s boutons at the neuromuscular junction in larvae expressing Snap25R206A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU are not significantly from those in larvae expressing Snap25WT.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU.
