Imprecise excision of P{EPgy2}CTCFEY15833 resulting in deletion of all 5' transposon sequences but retention of 4860 bp at the 3' end of the transposon. No genomic sequence is removed - flanking CTCF sequences and the qm gene remain intact.

      Heterozygosity for CTCF30 substantially reduces the maternal, but not paternal, imprint of the g gene on the Dp(1;f)LJ9 mini-X chromosome.

      Heterozygosity for CTCF30 decreases silencing of w in In(1)wm4 females while having no effect on w in In(1)wm4 males.

      Heterozygosity for CTCF30 modestly decreases silencing of the w reporter in P{hsp26-pt-T}6M193 females only.

      Heterozygosity for CTCF30 has no effect on the w reporter in P{hsp26-pt-T}39C-33 flies.
