      Expression of HLH54FScer\UAS.cIa in all myogenic cells, under the control of both Scer\GAL4twi.2PE and Scer\GAL4how-24B results in a reduction in the number of cardioblasts, with most of the somatic muscles appearing more rounded and often not attaching properly to their tendon cells. In addition, the midgut fail to form any constrictions.
