In the LpR1Df/+ and LpR1Df/LpR1Df larval brain, LNv neurons show decreased dendritic volume. The LpR1Df/LpR1Df optic lobe presents decreased lipid droplet density.

The expression of LpR1UAS.H.GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf in LpR1Df/LpR1Df, leads to LNv neurons in the larval brain to exuberant dendritic branches extended beyond the synaptic region.

Homozygous females lay eggs which hatch at rates similar to that of wild-type females.

Homozygous stage 10 egg chambers have a normal neutral lipid content.

Homozygous larval wing discs have normal levels of intracellular lipid droplets.
