Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^eya.enh1+E+2 results in rough and small eye phenotype.

Expression of apolpp^HMS00265 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Lsp2.3.1 (using tub-Gal80[ts] to limit expression to adulthood) results in highly increased cell death in vitellogenic stage follicles (but not in germaria, where the level of cell death is even moderately decreased) and also increases the rate of loss of the germline stem cells over time and the female flies lay significantly fewer eggs per day compared to controls.
