      Expression of Atg3HMS01348 under the control of Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 does not lead to any defects in midgut degradation after pupariation, with no significant difference in the size of the gastric caeca 4 hrs after puparium formation, or in autophagy levels 2 hrs after puparium formation.

      Expression of Atg3HMS01348 under the control of Scer\GAL4cg.PU results in a decrease in starvation-induced autophagy in the larval fat body, as compared to controls.

      Expression of Atg3HMS01348 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR is able to significantly suppress the formation of autophagosomes in the muscles of chloroquine-treated larvae starved on low-nutrient food for 6 hours.
