R7 photoreceptor axons extend normally to the M6 layer of the medulla in animals co-expressing gogoΔC.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC and stanΔIntra.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.

Co-expression of gogoFL.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC and stanΔIntra.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in a strong premature axon stopping phenotype in the R7 photoreceptor cells (41.0%).
