Expression of Hsap\OPRM1Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4IFa.PT does not generate male-male sexual behavior with or without application of fentanyl or methadone.

Expression of Hsap\OPRM1Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG in Akh neuroendocrine cells under the control of Scer\GAL4Akh.PL increases the level of whole body trehalose independently of application of a mu agonist (methadone).

Expression of Hsap\OPRM1Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG in the adult fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4Crz.PS increases the level of whole body trehalose independently of application of a mu agonist (methadone). There is no synergistic effect of expression of Hsap\OPRM1Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of both Scer\GAL4Akh.PL and Scer\GAL4Crz.PS. Whole body glycogen levels are also increased in these flies.

Expression of Hsap\OPRM1Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG in non-peptidergic cells of the adult fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4Lsp2.PH increases the level of whole body trehalose.

Flies expressing Hsap\OPRM1Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4Akh.PL appear to be more hungry than controls, as defined by the amount of sugar water taken by male flies.
