Description

A 1598 bp deletion resulting from the imprecise excision of P{EP}EP3128 removing Hsrω upstream regulatory sequences and 9 bp of transcribed sequence including the transcriptional start site. A short sequence of 24 bp is found inserted in place of the deleted segment.

      The synaptic morphology at lncRNA:Hsrω66 larval muscle 6/7 NMJs is comparable to controls.

      Homozygous Hsrω66 animals display decreased viability. Surviving homozygotes are fertile. Homozygous Hsrω66 flies are slow moving and cultures are susceptible to bacterial infection.
