      Expression of spn-EdsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16, Scer\GAL4otu.T:Hsim\VP16 and Scer\GAL4nos.PG results in decreased female fertility compared with wild-type.

      When tested in females, expression of spn-EdsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of all three of the drivers Scer\GAL4otu.T:Hsim\VP16, Scer\GAL4nos.PG and Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 results in sterility.
