      Scer\GAL4Dot.PK- or Scer\GAL4Hand.PA-mediated expression of Klf15KK108739 leads to the absence of pericardial nephrocytes in adults.

      When Klf15KK108739 is expressed specifically in adults via Scer\GAL4Hand.PA (using the TARGET system), the nephrocytes' endocytic function in the adult heart and ability to scavenge silver nitrate in vivo are significantly reduced.
