    brv2W205STOP homozygotes and brv2W205STOP/Df(3L)Exel6131 animals show a dramatic deficit in their aversion to cold temperatures compared to wild type flies.

    Cold-evoked calcium transients of brv1-expressing cells are severely decreased in brv2W205STOP animals.
