Description

UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a truncated version of Sdc that lacks the cytoplasmic domain due to a stop codon after K368. The construct contains 72 silent mutations in the 375bp region that is targeted by P{UAS-Sdc.RNAi.S}, to prevent RNAi silencing by this construct (RNAi Escape Strategy Construct (RESC) method).
