      Expression of crmDel-V.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 leads to abdominal dorsal fusion defects. However ectopic distal and posterior sex combs are induced much more weakly. When crmDel-V.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus is expressed in the wing imaginal disc using the Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4 driver a strong wing growth defect is induced. Expression in the dorsal region using the driver Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 increases thoracic pigmentation in both sexes and abdominal pigmentation in males.
