Embryos expressing Sema2aScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP,T:Mmus\Cd8a under the control of Scer\GAL4twi.PG display significantly increased frequency of irregularities in the structure of embryonic salivary gland (SG) lumen compared to wild-type controls. Expression controlled by the Scer\GAL4fkh.PH driver leads to significant widening of the SG.
24.9% of hemisegments show defects in the ISNb pathway (ISNb motor axons reach muscle 12 with no RP5 innervations) in embryos expressing one copy of Sema-2aScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP,T:Mmus\Cd8a under the control of Scer\GAL4tey-5053A. The penetrance of the phenotype increases to 52.6% of hemisegments when two copies of Sema-2aScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP,T:Mmus\Cd8a are used.
