      Only 68% of embryos expressing groΔSP.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 form cuticle. The cuticles formed usually show severe defects in patterning. None of the embryos hatch.

      Expression of groΔSP.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of Scer\GAL4Ser.PGF results in moderate to severe wing blistering.
