Detailed Description

Reference

drosha15N1/Df(2R)Exel6055 third instar larvae have a full complement of imaginal discs and appear morphologically normal. Homozygotes occasionally survive to adulthood.

Flies containing whole eye homozygous clones have normal photoreceptor projections to the central brain. However, the "on" transient of the electroretinogram is significantly reduced compared to wild type in these flies.

drosha15N1 is partially rescued by droshatSa

Comments

The reduction in the "on" transient of the electroretinogram that is seen in flies with whole eye drosha15N1 clones is rescued almost to wild type by droshatSa.
