      Germline stem cells (GSCs) in newly eclosed males expressing CycAΔC.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 show a high frequency of centrosome misorientation and frequently undergo mitosis with misoriented spindles (mitosis with misoriented spindles is not seen in wild-type male GSCs). The misorientation becomes more apparent with age.
