Scer\GAL4G14-mediated expression of NetoScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP rescues Neto36 mutants to adulthood when the temperature is maintained at 25[o]C. However, if the temperature is reduced to 18[o]C (to reduce Scer\GAL4 expression/activity) when first instar larvae hatch, most animals die at larval-pupal stages and exhibit altered, smaller synapses at third instar larval stage.
