Expression of Bmor\atoScer\UAS.cYb under the control of Scer\GAL4ato.eye suppresses the loss of eye phenotype found in ato1/Df(3R)p13 flies. However, ordered ommatidial packing is not restored as a number of supernumerary R8 cells are still present.
