The presence of tkvUbi-p63E.T:Ivir\HA1 in a wild-type background results in the L2 wing vein appearing slightly closer to the anterior-posterior boundary compared to controls.
Adult wings from flies carrying tkvUbi-p63E.T:Ivir\HA1 appear relatively normal with respect to wing pattern and size, with the exception that the distal region is more pointed than in wild-type and a portion of a vein is missing. The position of the L2 wing vein is significantly closer to the anterior-posterior boundary in tkvUbi-p63E.T:Ivir\HA1 flies compared to wild-type imaginal discs. Increasing the tkvUbi-p63E.T:Ivir\HA1 copy number does not alter the position of the L2 wing vein.
