UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of a 500bp inverted repeat.
Under constant darkness conditions, the expression of GlyTNIG.5549R under the combined control of Scer\GAL4Pdf.Switch1a and RU486 treatment during adulthood leads to a small increase in circadian period, but to insignificant changes in rhythmicity, as compared to controls; under constant light conditions, this expression leads to light intensity-dependent increases in the proportion of individuals exhibiting arrhythmic behavior and in the complexity of behavior, as compared to controls.
