      Individuals expressing mir-1UAS.pLUC under the control of Scer\GAL4NP0001, induced one day prior to infection with Pseudomonas entomophila, show a significant decrease in midgut mitosis at days 0 and 3.

      Expression of mir-1Scer\UAS.T:Ppyr\LUC under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in pupal and pharate adult lethality. Pharate adults have very small vestigial wings.
