      Expression of GlG38S.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 results in either no mutant phenotype or a mild rough eye phenotype, depending on the GlG38S.Scer\UAS line used.

      Expression of GlG38S.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 results in a dramatic accumulation of dense core vesicles (DCVs) at terminal boutons of the larval neuromuscular junction. Retrograde transport of DCVs from the terminal boutons is disrupted in these animals.
