Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Homozygous female germline clones develop to stage 3-4 of oogenesis, and fusome development appears normal. Entry into meiosis is normal in the mutant cysts, but 84% of the clones retain synaptonemal complexes in four adjacent cells in regions 2b and 3 of the germarium. In contrast to wild type, centrosomes are not concentrated within single cells in regions 2b and 3 of the germarium, but are evenly distributed.
