Under standard fed conditions, the expression of aayHMS01805 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU leads to a small but significant increase in overall sleep time, as compared to controls; none of the three expression conditions seems to affect sleep latency time, as compared to controls.
Females heterozygous for aayHMS01805 and Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 crossed to aayHMS01805 males results in: 3% hatching; egg/embryonic phenotype: "brown eggs, dorsal closure defects"; maternal effect.
