      Neuronal (driven by Scer\GAL4elav-C155) knockdown of pod1HMS02270 in the adult stage (using Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B) in male flies increases their resistance to starvation: survival in starvation conditions is increased compared to controls at 24[o]C or 29[o]C (further increases pod1 knockdown).
