      Flies expressing Ac78CdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Gr5a.PU exhibit a significant reduction in sucrose response at 4, 20, and 100mM sucrose, but not at 400mM, compared to controls. The extent of depression is greater in low concentrations. The water response is not affected in these flies.
