      Expression of tshΔZn1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PS induces ectopic eyes in the 43% of antennal discs. The ectopic eyes produced are larger than those seen when a full length tsh construct, tshScer\UAS.cDa, is expressed.

      Antennal disc clones expressing tshΔZn1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Scer\FRT.Act5C exhibit tissue overgrowth in the ventral compartment. The size of the outgrowths is smaller than those seen when a full length tsh construct, tshScer\UAS.cDa, is expressed.
