UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of Ret which is tagged at the C-terminal end with Tag:FLAG and with Tag:polyHis.
Adult flies expressing RetScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG,T:Zzzz\His6 driven by Scer\GAL4esg-NP7397 combined with tub-Gal80[ts] (for temporal control) or flies expressing the transgene in MARCM clones under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU display significant increase in midgut stem cell proliferation (assessed by number of pH3-positive cells). Scer\GAL4wg.KO-driven expression fails to promote intestinal stem cell proliferation.

RetUAS.Tag:FLAG,Tag:polyHis/Scer\GAL4Ret.P2 partially rescues RetLM1
