Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

93% of homozygous pupae show a marked reduction of muscle histolysis in the abdomen. The thorax is shifted anteriorly in 35% of mutant pupae. 27% of mutant animals reach the pharate adult stage. The temporary dorsal internal oblique muscles of the abdomen are either absent or show morphological defects in 93% of these pharate adults.
