      Scer\GAL4ey.PU-mediated expression of dmScer\UAS.PI in a dmP0 background increases ommatidial size without affecting ommatidial number. In the eye imaginal disc, the number of differentiated photoreceptors and the number of apoptotic cells is not affected.
