Lateral transverse muscles of stage 16 embryos expressing mir-92bScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR always fail to reach the muscle attachment sites adjacent to the dorsal border of the lateral longitudinal muscle.

Larvae expressing mir-92bScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR show a significant reduction in the number of body wall contractions per minute compared to controls.
