      No viable adults expressing Jafrac2Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 are recovered at 25[o]C. At 18[o]C, adults are obtained but their lifespans are shorter than normal.

      Flies expressing Jafrac2Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show a dramatic increase in the number of cells undergoing DNA degradation in fat body tissue and to a lesser extent in thoracic muscles compared to wild type.
