Detailed Description

Reference

2/13 P{sev-sv.S} lines show a weak rough eye phenotype with one copy, and 9/11 remaining lines show a weak rough eye phenotype with present as 2 copies.

In svsev.PS/+ pupal eye discs, over 90% of ommatidia have the normal complement of four cone cells, while only 1% contain one additional cone cell.

ttkp88.Scer\UAS Scer\GAL4hs.2sev, svsev.PS pupal eye discs have additional cone cells in about 40% of their ommatidia , with a maximum of seven cone cells observed in 1% of the ommatidia.

One supernumerary cone cell is generated in most ttkp88.Scer\UAS Scer\GAL4hs.2sev, svsev.PS ommatidia, while up to three additional cone cells are generated in only 4% of the ommatidia.
