      The majority of the progeny from a sdScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG,T:Uuuu\MyrPalm-Yes x Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 cross are females (45%) or males (34%) who have inherited a balancer chromosome. The remaining 21% of the flies are females with greatly reduced wings and halteres relative to controls.
