UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of a kinase hyperactive clinical mutant form of Hsap\LRRK2 (contains the amino acid replacement G2019S) which is tagged with Tag:V5.
The expression of Hsap\LRRK2G2019S.Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 under the control of Scer\GAL4Toll-6-D42 results in the presynaptic region of third instar larval neuromuscular junctions exhibiting a significant increase in the density of autophagosomes (detected as fluorescent puncta of Atg8 or Lamp in confocal microscopy images) under normal diet, but exhibiting no defects in starvation-induced formation of autophagosomes, as compared to controls.
